ANUS Records’ very own Panda Lassow returns with another mini edition of her Fruit Wharf series. After featuring on projects by Carista and Laurel Halo in the past two years, as well as hosting a workshop during ADE, she has reached an exciting climax in her production space. Stepping off from the first instalment, Panda evaluates the warped realities of 2020 through experimental ambiance and cutting mechanical grit.

Panda explores dystopian soundscapes from the often perilous voyage of human existence - where people simply are seeking to live better lives. The music of Black Sun seeks to project a rejection to human suffering, using vocal tools to emanate a profound sense of peaceful unease. Icarus dreams of flying high, momentarily forgetting the dangers of dancing too near the sun, in a dubbed out experiment set between discharged synthesizers that express the chaotic waves of success.

The project as a whole is a testament to Pandas growing musical experimentation and kickstarts an exciting year for ANUS Records.
